Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled departure receive a full refund. Cancellations within 24-48 hours receive a 50% refund or full credit toward a future cruise. Cancellations less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable. Weather-related cancellations by Fraser River Paddlewheel Co. always receive a full refund.

Yes, we offer discounts for groups of 10 or more. Contact us directly for group pricing and to arrange your booking. We also offer exclusive private charter rates for larger parties.

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking at least one week in advance, especially for weekend cruises and specialty events. Our Heritage River Cruise often has same-day availability on weekdays, but weekend departures and seasonal events can sell out quickly.

Can I purchase tickets at the dock?

Walk-up tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis for the Heritage River Cruise, subject to availability. Weekend cruises and specialty events must be reserved in advance.

Light snacks are available for purchase on the Heritage River Cruise. Our longer weekend cruises offer an expanded menu. For private events, we offer full catering packages through our preferred catering partners.

Where does the boat depart from?

All cruises depart from the New Westminster Quay at the River Market, located at 810 Quayside Drive, New Westminster, BC. The dock is easily accessible from the New Westminster SkyTrain station (a 5-minute walk).

Yes, paid parking is available at the River Market parkade and along the Quayside boardwalk. We recommend arriving early on weekends as parking can fill up. The New Westminster SkyTrain station is also a convenient alternative.

The MV Native operates rain or shine. The vessel has a fully enclosed, heated lower deck so cruises proceed in most weather conditions. In cases of severe weather (high winds, flooding), we may cancel for safety and provide a full refund or rebooking.

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Boarding begins 20 minutes before departure. Late arrivals may not be accommodated, and refunds are not provided for missed departures.

Private charters require a minimum of 20 guests. The MV Native accommodates up to 100 guests for private events. For smaller gatherings, consider booking a section of a scheduled cruise.
